What are the requirements for the installation of the Phoenix preventer?

Due to its intended purpose, the Phoenixpreventer requires a connection to the domestic water supply. The COMPACTmobile version is connected to an also-mounted 25 m hose reel with a water connection.
The PRIVATEguard model additionally requires a power supply and the option to install the SIEMENS control unit and connect it to the device. A water connection must be available.
From a structural standpoint, the subsoil or parking surface must be level.

(Not suitable for installation on access ramps.)

Type of installation

Both preventers are installed using fire-resistant fastening elements.

The wall bracket of the COMPACTmobile is mounted vertically, close to the wall-mounted hose reel.

The PRIVATEguard model is permanently fixed to the floor of the parking space.

Depending on the layout of the parking space, the mounting geometry is flexible, and for example the media duct and all supply lines can be adapted.

An on-site inspection provides solutions and clarity in this regard.

Are Phoenix Preventers corrosion-resistant and frost-proof?

All Phoenixpreventers are manufactured from V2A stainless steel and are highly resistant to corrosion. Since the fire-extinguishing agent is introduced only in the event of a fire, this also ensures absolute

frost resistance.

Detection of a fire

The COMPACTmobile model must be manually activated in the event of a fire. This is usually done by authorized personnel and emergency services (firefighters, parking garage staff, security personnel, etc.).

With the PRIVATEguard Preventer, fire detection and extinguishing are fully automatic. No personnel are required, and operational reliability is guaranteed 24/7. Additionally, this preventer offers the option of automatically notifying the fire alarm system upon fire detection and triggering alarms and other safety systems.
